Lab Points

A large part of the lab grade is derived from lab points. These activities or assignments which are worth only a few marks each that are assigned throughout the semester.

Each Lab Period

• 1 lab point for bringing your lab notebook
• 1 lab point for coming on time (within 5 minutes of period starting) and staying/working till 15 minutes after the hour of the lab ending
• Lab points for prelab questions answered correctly and handed in before the lab period (submit answers with your name and student number through the mail slot by the Physics Lab entrance). Attendance of the lab period is required to receive lab points for the prelab questions. You will find the prelab questions with each lab on the web.
