Stereo views are from actual twin pictures taken by NASA. Some views were generated from NASA world Wind software that uses space images to present detailed, perspective planet views. 3DPix allows you to immerse yourself into real space views.

The 3D stereo effect is the result of a scene being photographed from two views, either from two locations or from the scene rotating to two positions. Optical disparity can occur in the stereo view with movement between the two images.
