Show services provides
local support to presentations of stereoscopic 3D shows by equipment
rentals and support personnel for the setup, training and
even complete running of projected shows.
Projected Presentation
Hardware
- a computer with at least two video cards running Windows 2000
or better
- software requires DotNet, ADO and DirectX (all freely available
with Windows)
- twin dlp digital projectors (XGA resolution preferred) mounted
over each other with polarizer's mounted in front of the projectors
A computer, loaded with the 3DP show, outputs images through
multiple video cards to two digital dlp projectors. Images are
projected through polarizers onto a silver screen (silver screen
maintains polarization). An audience views the 3D show with
polarizing glasses.
Projected Show Operation
Show operator needs only to ensure that alignment and focus of
the digital projectors is maintained. 3DP software sequentially
steps through the slides with the timing built in or the operator
controlling timing.
